Addie's "real" birthday was an event filled day for me and I knew I wouldn't be available to celebrate appropriately on her very special day, so we opted to celebrate with an early morning breakfast at Krispy Kreme!
We had party hats and all! I was able to spend some time with her on her ninth birthday before spending all day at school, then speaking at the New Teacher Celebration, then off to the Knoxville Fellows Graduation...it was ten o'clock before I got home. Sometimes being a "working mother" totally stinks!
